Glamper Code of Conduct

#1 –  Meet new people!

Don’t be shy.  Introduce yourself and your kids to people you don’t know.  All of you are friends with someone here (and some of you know more people than others).  The best way to make everyone feel comfortable this weekend is to be welcoming to everyone.

#2 – Extra Eyes

Don’t just parent your kids, be an extra eye for any kids in your vicinity. If you see some kids having issues jump in and help out.

Happy kids make Happy Parents = Good Vacation.

#2 – Grill Safety

There will be 4 big grills for cooking on the upper meadow. Please keep all small children away from the cooking area.

#4 – Keep the Campsite Cleaner than you found it

We’re all responsible for keeping our communal areas clean: the Yurt, the Bon Fire Area, the Picnic Tables, and the Meadow.

#5 – Meal Tickets?

El Cap will be checking Breakfast wristbands

As for the other meals… There will be NO ONE collecting tickets. Please remember what meals you bought and be respectful of the process.

The Glamping Police don’t work holiday weekends.

#6 – Volunteer Policy

Remember what you volunteered for, we’re not keeping track. If you see something that needs to be done, even if you didn’t “volunteer” for it, jump in and help out.

See Rule # 5 regarding Glamping Police

#7 – Relax

The weekend is filled with activities but participation is entirely optional. Join in as much or as little as you want.  Relax and enjoy!

#8 – Be Generous of Spirit

Glamp Camp Guidelines for Kids

The Upper Meadow Yurt is used for scheduled activities only

It is closed to the kids at all other times.

Please observe the “Free Range Zone” of camp.

We ask that our younger campers not explore the outside edges of the communal areas without a responsible guide, preferably one who can identify poison ivy and poison oak!

No kids under the age of 10 are allowed at the El Capitan Café without adult supervision.

Please be mindful of our campsite and supplies.

This includes not wasting paper supplies or beverages and picking up around the campsite.

This, too:

Tick Checks!

Deers run free around El Capitan and so do their ticks. Parents, be sure to check your children for ticks before bed.

Check-in Time

Check-in at El Capitan Canyon is 4pm. If you want to arrive early, call their front desk at (866) 352-2729 to see if your room is ready.
